OTPA Fall Schedule includes a Free Concert this Sunday!

The Ontonagon Theater of Performing Arts is pleased to announce more world-class shows for the final stretch of our historic 20th season. Please be aware that some of these shows do not appear on the schedules printed earlier this season.

This Sunday, 9/17/17, in a special 3:00 P.M. show, renowned jazz pianist Bill Carrothers will take the stage with the Ewen-Trout Creek School Choir under the direction of Brad Besonen. The show is free, but any donations are appreciated!

On Saturday, 9/30/17, the OTPA welcomes Upper Michigan’s Annual Cross-Genre Music Festival, Beethoven & Banjos. This mind-blowing show is sponsored by Miner’s State Bank and Citizen’s State Bank and has slightly-later-than-usual 7:30 start time.

On Friday, 10/6/17, there’s a storm coming! Rolling Thunder returns to rock the theater with a variety of favorite country songs.

Saturday, 10/14/17, will see touring artist Kitty Donohoe make her way to the theater for a night of wonderful folk music that has won a Michigan Emmy. Look for her new CD, “The Irishman’s Daugther”, out now.

Last but not least, Alex Marciniak, a wonderful musician and great friend to the theater, will return to be a part of our 20th season the evening of Friday, 10/20/17.

Tickets are $12 at the door, $10 in advance, and $5 for students unless otherwise noted; all showtimes 7:00 P.M. unless otherwise noted.
